Soon we'll be found.

Sweater: T-Maxx
Skirt: Forever 21
Gold Chain: Cotton On
Shoes: Thrifted

I feel like it has been forever since I last blogged/posted anything! As you guys may know, I am in the middle of college application season right now so my post may be far and few in between until winter break. Unfortunately, senioritis (the laziness that ensues during senior year) has also been influential in my studies so far, making me become lazier than ever. Honestly, I spend majority of my day on Tumblr which is getting to be a really bad habit! I'll try to step my personal blogging game up, and post more outfit pictures so you guys know I'm still alive!

(My tumblr btw (if you're just as addicted as I am) is theepatricians.tumblr.com or candycanecandace.tumblr.com)

Best Coast.

All photos taken by me. (Except for the pictures of me)
This past weekend my friend and I went on a hiking/beach trip and had an amazing time. After getting lost about 3 times, we finally made it to the beach and were in awe of the picturesque setting. The sunset was beautiful and the waves were so calming. California really does have some amazing beaches.

We get down on Friday nights.

Shirt: Thrifted
Skirt: Thrifted (AA)
Shoes: Tobi.com

Went out to dinner for my best friend's birthday, and had such a great time. I always laugh until I cry (or snort) when I'm with them, because we they always tell me the craziest stories. We don't even go to the same school anymore, but we still try to keep in touch despite living a half hour away. Great friends will always be there no matter the distance or how many times they see you a year.

NEW YORK.

Shirt: H&M
Socks: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Thrifted
Bag: VJ-style.com

Went thrift shopping with my dad (I literally had to force him to go), and he took some photo's of me whilst I was shopping. I've worn this outfit to school (got so many nasty looks haha), but it's the best outfit to wear when it's near 90 degrees outside.

Coolness is having courage.

Shirt: Free People
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Bag: Vintage

It's been crazy hot lately, so I decided to wear this crochet Free People top that's perf for hot days! It allows my skin to breath, and it's just a super cute top that screams summer.

Almost Fall.

Shirt: Thrifted
Shorts: Flea Market
Shoes: Thrifted
Hat: Ross

Now that the long awaited "sweater weather" is finally approaching, I'm slowly shifting my wardrobe into the fall season! I can't wait to start drinking hot chocolate and apple cider daily while staring out into the dark sky. Hopefully Cali weather can make up its mind, and stop shifting between the high 80's and low 70's every other day...

So I walked out of those wandering dreams.

Turtleneck: Thrifted
Skirt: Forever 21
Thigh High Socks: UO
Shoes: Tobi.com

Wearing this outfit was probably the worst mistake I made this week. Once the morning fog had burned off, the temperature reached 88 degrees versus the 60 degrees in the morning. This was actually my favorite outfit to wear last winter but I never had a chance to photograph it.
Please excuse the last photo, it's my magazine editorial wanna-be photo. Haha.

White Glow.

 Shirt: Foreign Exchange
Shorts: H&M
Necklace: Cotton On
Shoes: Urban Outfitters (Minnetonka)

Today was my first day of Senior year, and it went really well! I honestly didn't have high hopes for today since my school really sucks and I don't like a lot of the people, but I was surprised! I have friends in every class which should make this year really enjoyable. I wore this airy outfit because it was 95 degrees today, and I did not want to be a sweaty mess on the first day of school. Mother nature is seriously trying to fry us.
